Today’s quick tip is about installing bathtubs.....something that looks simple, but can turn into a costly problem if done wrong.

👉 Plumbing Tip: Proper Tub Installation Matters
When installing a tub, always make sure: ✔️ The tub is fully level and properly supported (not just sitting on the edges)
✔️ The drain and overflow are tightly sealed to prevent hidden leaks
✔️ A proper trap and vent system is installed to avoid slow draining and sewer odors
✔️ The tub is secured and doesn’t shift — movement leads to cracks and leaks over time

⚠️ One of the biggest mistakes I see is tubs installed without proper support underneath, this causes flexing, which eventually leads to leaks behind walls or under the floor.

Installed some of the most unusual small toilets.... I’ve come across with side holes so tight you can’t even get your hands in there 😅 Had to get creative and work smarter to get them bolted down right.

That’s what this trade is about… adapting, figuring it out, and getting the job done no matter what.

Another clean commercial install 👨🏾‍🔧

Installed a hand sink with hot and cold water lines tied into the existing system and extended to reach the new location.

Also set up the drainage properly with a P-trap and routed it to an indirect floor drain to meet code requirements.

Everything tested, flowing properly, and built to last. Attention to detail is what separates good work from great work.

Customer was very pleased and satisfied with the final result.
