Updates on the progress of this historic restoration.

This house was built in 1845 and is registered on the national historic registry as the "Accent House". First constructed as a guest house for the house across the street it later sat abandoned and was overgrown with ivy earning the nickname as the scary house in the 60's. It was then converted into a bed and breakfast. The current owners have been slowly restoring the inside and outside back to the original 1845 roots.

Heirloom Millwork has built multiple custom book cases for the interior, replaced the kitchen and butler pantry moulding, and assisted with a bathroom remodel.

There is no higher compliment than being invited back into a client’s home. Three years ago, we handcrafted a custom entry bench and library shelves for this wonderful family in Uniontown, OH. Last week, we returned to complete their home office with this floor-to-ceiling built-in, featuring a solid wood countertop and a classic rolling library ladder.

​We designed and finished this new piece to seamlessly match their existing woodwork, carrying that quiet luxury and durable craftsmanship throughout the entire house. Nothing beats seeing how well our pieces hold up to the beautiful chaos of daily life years later.

Just wrapped up this complete custom kitchen transformation with out in beautiful Apple Valley, OH. The kitchen is the hardest-working room in the house, which is why we build these spaces to handle the beautiful chaos of family life while maintaining a quiet, elevated luxury.

​For this project, we paired bright, timeless perimeter cabinetry with a rich, contrasting island to anchor the room. Everything is tied together with clean matte black hardware and under-cabinet lighting to highlight that stunning stonework.

​Because we exclusively use non-toxic, zero-VOC finishes, these surfaces are completely food-safe from day one. Built safe. Built to last.
