Woodford Electric is now offering Thermal Imaging scanning and reports. If you have ever at anytime in your life experienced flickering lights, or other power problems, the conditions have already done possible damage to your electrical panel, breakers or devices such as outlets and switches. Thermal scanning can find hot spots before the problem potentially causes damage making repairs less costly. These symptoms are usually caused by loose connections, and those loose connections will have a higher level of resistance causing heat to build until it burns and causes damage. This is a practice usually used in the commercial and industrial environments of manufacturing and businesses but can be very helpful in a residential application as well. Also, do you know where you are losing heat from windows and doors? Those can be scanned too. Hello all. I don't do this enough but I have to say thanks out loud to my crew. None of it would be possible without them! I'd only be a self employed sparky by myself. They all work hard each and everyday to complete the tasks, solve the problems and keep the community up and running. They are the backbone of this company and I KNOW THAT!! Thank you guys. This event is a little old but still important non the less. Many of you already know our good friends over at Smith's Country Cheese had a awful fire and loss to their service garage last Friday, my phone rang at 5:30am and I was wondering who was calling out sick that day. To my surprise it was Jake Catlin and I thought oh no, he's not calling me to ask me out to breakfast! Lol.
I rushed right up there to assess the damage as Jake told me he couldn't milk the cows with the overhead wires melted right in half and down on the ground. Got back to the shop to gather up the boys and grabbed some wire from the local supply house and got started at getting Jake back up and running. Mike Nugent and Nick Pavlakos worked there butts off to get Jake back up and running that day because that's what we do at Woodford Electric, Inc. Get those problems solved and take care of our community. As a farm raised kid myself I and so many others are glad no Barns or animals were lost/hurt in this fire thank God. We feel for Jake and the whole Catlin family but are also glad we were able to help them get going again so quickly. IT TAKES A VILLAGE. Big shout out to the brave men and women of the many fire departments that responded to this fire and did what they do. They are the true heros. Thank you 1st responders!!❤️❤️
