Winter ❄️ weather is certainly upon us.
Make sure all water hoses are disconnected to avoid busting of pipes.
Cover them with a commercial product or old hand towels and duct tape.

It’s too windy to water now so, When the weather gets above freezing, turn the sprinkler on for 5 minutes.
The ground is dry (and unfortunately the precipitation was removed from our forecast). The vegetation needs a drink.
It’s wintertime, a little goes a long way. 😉

Watch the night temperatures dropping gradually. It’s a welcome after a long hot summer.
Remember October is the last fertilizer for the season along with the first application of pre-emergent.

The heat will continue for us in the DFW area. Ensure your beds are mulched with 2” - 😉and water 1 to 1-1/2” a week.

August is another round of fertilizer- try and use organic. Organic is non-burning 🔥 and gives you time to get some water on the turf.
