Before ➡️ After

Tree #1

This was the primary concern.

Snow and ice recently caused limb tear-outs, and branches struck the home. When limbs rip out under load, they leave compromised attachment points and uneven weight over the structure.

We removed damaged limbs, reduced end weight over the roofline, and rebalanced the canopy to better handle future storms.

Corrective pruning today helps prevent failure tomorrow.

Tree #2

The original leader on this pine died back years ago.
The tree responded by sending up multiple new tops — all competing.

Multiple leaders = structural weakness over time.

We selectively reduced competing stems, raised the canopy, and opened the interior.

You can now see sunlight reaching the center of the tree — a sign of improved airflow and better weight balance.

Storms don’t create weak trees.
They expose them.

This is what hidden decay looks like.

We were called out after a trunk failed from internal rot. The homeowner was also concerned about another nearby tree — which only needed light pruning and deadwood removal.

But during the evaluation, we discovered two additional trees posing a significant risk to nearby structures.

Up close? Fungal growth climbing the trunk. Decay at the root flare. Early structural compromise.

Trees rarely fail without warning — you just have to know what to look for.

If you’ve had a tree fail recently, don’t assume the others are safe.
