The Columbia Urban League and The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is thrilled to celebrate the amazing young individuals who have completed this year’s summer Youth Academy! Over the past two weeks, these dedicated students, aged 14 to 19, have gained insights into the inner workings of the fire department, learning life-saving skills and exploring the possibilities of a future career in fire service.

Under the guidance of Columbia-Richland’s Fire Department’s@experienced team and with the support of the Columbia Urban League, these teens have not only been inspired but have also shown tremendous growth, determination, and a true commitment to serving their communities.

As we close this chapter, we are confident that the lessons learned and experiences shared will stay with our participants for years to come. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication.
