Little bit of fish stocking from yesterday! 24 bass and 1000 fathead minnows got stocked into their new home. If you are looking to get some fish stocked into your pond, please reach out! All gamefish (bass, crappie, perch, etc.) will not be available till the fall but fathead minnows, golden shiners, and papershell crayfish are available. Grass carp are available upon permit approval from NYSDEC. Please Call or DM if you’re looking to get your pond stocked for the season!

As many of our backyard ponds or lakes start to open up of ice, you may notice that little green or brown blobs appear to be floating around. This is called algae and it can make the appearance of your pond to be unhealthy. Sometimes it can get worse throughout the summer and choke out the surface of your pond.
