I got this thing off the ground and have been horrible about posting here. I’ve had lots going on and plenty to post about, but I’ve been stubborn to a point because I like posting before and after together.

I have a hardwood flooring job that I started and finished last month.
I didn’t post yet because when I was doing the trim I found a spot in the drywall that needed fixed and the client also hired me to frame and drywall the closet, so I held off.

Before I could start the drywall, I took a previously planned trip to St. Louis and beyond. I helped built a headboard for my sister and hung a ceiling fan in my nephews room while visiting.

St Louis was the main reason for the trip. One of my other ventures is the Haunt Industry and I had the privilege of accompanying my close friends , who own the haunted house and hayride I work for, to the Transworld Haunt Trade Show. I had a bast and am looking forward to many years to come being involved in attending and helping.

The pictures are of the project I started today. Mom’s porch substructure was rotting and needed addressed. Tomorrow I will frame out the half that was rotted and hopefully get her new Trex decking started. Hoping to have it fully done before the weekend is out.

My brother in law took a new job last year and I got the opportunity to go spend time with my sister and nephew to help them get settled in their new home. While I was there, I helped hang some TV’s and her large 3 piece mirror.
I also got to build framing for a fireplace hearth cover and window treatment to help block sunlight in the nursery. My very talented interior designer sister finished the 2 pieces with padding and upholstery.

Photo dump of a project from last year (2025). Framed in and finished a 10x14 craft room, added outlets and lights, cut and repaired drop ceiling to account for the new room, framed a closet and installed 3/4” steel pipe for hanging, cleaned up some unfinished drywall, installed lvp flooring in approximately 1000 sq ft of basement, installed a new door, and rebuilt the exterior steps that were falling apart.
