Customer complaint: blower motor would randomly slow down and change speeds, especially on hot days.

The easy thing to do? Start throwing parts at it.

A lot of people would have replaced the blower motor first because that’s usually what gets blamed.

Instead, I tested it.

Pulled the blower motor out, powered it directly from the battery, and it ran perfectly. That told me the motor wasn’t the problem.

From there, testing led me to the actual failure: the blower motor control module.

One bad part. One accurate diagnosis.

No unnecessary parts. No wasted money.

That’s why we diagnose first and replace parts second.
