Started a new project this past week in Tuckahoe area.
Enlarging some beds in preparation for new plants this fall. Below are before and during pics.

All finished replacing the edging on this side of the house.

Back in Midlothian. The homeowner was unhappy with the black aluminum edging holding this gravel walkway in place. Today we are replacing aluminum edging with a stronger steel edging. This will also help keep the mulch in place in the garden beds. Stay tuned for more updates.

Last week we started a native plant installation project in Midlothian, VA.

The homeowner wanted to remove all the existing plants and start from scratch with all natives.

First are some before pictures with the original plants. Then, pictures after they were taken out, compost was mixed in, and the new plants staged for planting. We will keep you updated on the progress of this project.

We did some light weeding, cleaned up the bed edges and spread organic non-dyed mulch.

Caring for the plant health, means caring for soil health. When mulching we always used non-dyed natural mulch so it breaks down and feeds soil life.

This week we worked on over seeding and re-establishment of a lawn. We aerated, seeded, limed, and spread organic compost. No chemicals, only nature.
