Taken TODAY. 7/29/2023. Are your ficus HURTING? Let’s face it, the answer is YES. It’s the toughest time of year. Water, water, water. They will have burned leaves no matter what you do. For lack of a better term, these are jungle plants… you can’t over water them right now. If you have the funds, purchase moon juice or fox farms boomerang and give your ficus a good shot of it! Helps them deal with the stress!

For specifics, these are on 2x a day for 2 hours 🤪. Each column has 2 one gallon emitters. 5am & 3 pm. Homeowner goes out at least 5x a week and hose them down. These columns take care and maintenance daily when temps/no rain are/is like this.
Water. Water. Water. Most roots are surface roots. These trees need love right now!

Fit for a “King” 😉 500 feet of lighting wire and 12 fixtures installed for this horse property! Complete tear out and redo of irrigation system. Installation of 1,200 feet of new tempo poly tube and adding of 4 new valves. The previous contractor installed one irrigation line for multiple type of plants. Citrus on bubblers, agave on 2 gallon drips, cacti on two gallon drips, pots on 2 gallon drips. What’s the problem? Pots need water multiple times a day for short periods, where as, cacti hardly need anything… citrus need a good deep soak while agave need shallow infrequent waterings. By having one line, it ended up causing the cacti to rot out, citrus to be thirsty, and pots to flood out. Fixed just in time for the heat 😳🔥
We will update pictures in 6 months and this dusty Wittmann yard will be an oasis with lots of green and protection from the wind!

A little late on this post! But huge thank you for Cathy and Manolis for choosing us to remodel your front yard! Brand new 🥰 full irrigation system! And yes the pot in the corner of the patio has its own line ✌🏼 pots are from the fabulous and let’s not forget the beautiful water feature 💧happy to report the newly extended side gate to include self closing springs and composit slats.
