"I won't tell you who the HVAC contractor is, but here's an installation I found during a service call. The furnace cabinet had been cut to make room for the gas piping, and it was also modified around the vent. The system also uses two 16-inch flex supplies with multiple wye fittings, which can contribute to airflow issues depending on the system design. This is why quality control and proper installation matter. Homeowners: always have your new HVAC system inspected if something doesn't seem right."

For the Past 3 weeks these are some of the kinked duct jobs I have had the pleasure to fix and restore to proper airflow. I get it it’s hot you cut the flex to short and it’s Friday but dam son call the manager have them bring you a new bag or go get a new bag but don’t just install this crap. If I see your company name on the job I am going to post it so you better watch out I’m coming for y’all hacks!

Please 🙏 if you don’t want to pay a company to fix your ac at least change the filters every 3 months and stop buying cheap filters! For trying to save $150 maintenance you’re risking breaking down in the middle of summer and costing you thousands in repairs.
