I was recently asked to build a box/urn to hold the ashes of a baby who unfortunately never got to see the light of day, and who's parents were robbed of welcoming a newborn baby boy into this world and a lifetime full of cherished memories.

How is one supposed to go about making something so important and the one thing that will forever honor his memory?! Especially when I'm given full control of how this will look in the end and the person I'm making this for is my own niece who is thought of as another daughter of mine! Will anything be worthy enough?

Kaitlin and Roman,
I want you to know what an incredible honor it was for me to make this urn for your sweet boy Weston. Being trusted with something so deeply meaningful, and so personal, is something I will never take lightly.

Every part of this was done with love, care, and respect for him and for you. I wanted it to be worthy of his memory and of the place he will always hold in your heart. To be asked to create something that will protect and honor him is one of the most humbling things I've ever done.

Please know that he was thought of the entire time I worked on it, and so were you. I hope this brings even a small measure of comfort, and that you always know how deeply honored I am to have been part of remembering him.

All setup and found out I can't do the Facebook live. Not enough followers yet, but we're getting close. The video I did make you couldn't even hear me either 😢 We do have a winner though! Congratulations to Don Whitehouse for winning this flag! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!
