⚠️ Severe weather is in the forecast — now is the time to prepare.
A few proactive steps can help reduce the risk of water damage to your home:
✔️ Make sure gutters are clear of debris
✔️ Extend downspouts at least 6 feet away from your foundation
✔️ Test your sump pump and consider installing a battery backup
✔️ If your basement is prone to flooding, move furniture, electronics, rugs, and important documents to higher shelves or upper floors
Please remember: restoration crews are NOT able to begin mitigation until the water intrusion has stopped. If water is actively entering the home, the source must first be addressed before cleanup and drying can begin.
