What started as an outdated aluminum patio cover is now a custom-built outdoor living space designed to be enjoyed for decades.

For this project, we sourced local spruce and had it custom milled specifically for the build, creating a one-of-a-kind lean-to porch roof that brings warmth, character, and craftsmanship back to the home.

Every timber was carefully selected. Every connection was built with purpose. Every detail was designed to create a space where family and friends can gather, relax, and make memories.

We’re cutting traditional mortise-and-tenon joints with a rare Japanese Makita mortiser, shaping locally milled Douglas Fir timbers that will frame this incredible Colorado river rock fireplace.
