We just wrapped up a near 1,500 sq ft garage with 6 doors in under 3 days. This one started with heavy oil and grease staining, plus added moisture exposure from an attached sauna, so prep and product selection had to be spot on.
Walls were thoroughly cleaned, prepped, and coated in Benjamin Moore White Dove in a semi gloss finish using HP3410 pre catalyzed epoxy. This system is built for environments like this, offering superior adhesion over challenging substrates, excellent chemical resistance, and a hard, scrubbable surface that holds up against oils, moisture, and daily wear far better than standard latex.
For the doors, we used Benjamin Moore Aura in a black semi gloss. Aura delivers exceptional color depth, a smooth factory like finish, and outstanding durability on interior doors. It resists scuffing, blocking, and everyday wear, while also providing added protection in higher humidity environments, making it a strong choice anywhere moisture can be a factor.
