Recently, C&C Construction became aware of the health challenges that Krystal and her family have been facing, and we felt it was important to take a moment to acknowledge that and extend our sincere thoughts and best wishes to Krystal, Brandon, and their extended family.

Serious health situations have a way of reminding all of us what truly matters in life. Regardless of our backgrounds, professions, beliefs, experiences, or differences, we are all human beings navigating life’s challenges and doing our best to care for the people who mean the most to us.

As a company, C&C Construction has always believed that there is a human element behind every client, every family, and every relationship we build along the way. While construction is our profession, people have always been at the center of what we do. Behind every conversation, every interaction, and every family we meet are individuals facing their own triumphs, struggles, and challenges that often have nothing to do with the work itself.

My own family has experienced significant health battles over the years, including my mother overcoming breast cancer on two separate occasions. Experiences like those leave a lasting impression and serve as a reminder of how precious life is, how important family is, and how quickly health concerns can put everything else into perspective.

Learning of Krystal’s health situation was a reminder of those realities. Health challenges affect not only the individual facing them, but also spouses, children, parents, relatives, and close friends who stand beside them every step of the way. The strength required to navigate those moments deserves both respect and compassion.

Our thoughts are with Krystal, Brandon, and their entire family. We sincerely hope that she continues to heal, regain strength, and move forward surrounded by the support of those who care about her. We also hope that her family has found comfort, encouragement, and brighter days ahead as they continue moving forward together.

At the end of the day, there are things in life that are far more important than business, material possessions, or the countless issues that can arise throughout the course of life. Health, family, and the well-being of the people we care about will always be among those things.

From everyone at C&C Construction, we wish Krystal, Brandon, and their family continued healing, good health, peace, happiness, and many years of wonderful memories together.

In light of the recent social media content surrounding the Rattlesnake Rehab project, we believe the public deserves more than selectively presented photographs, isolated excerpts, and conclusions drawn without full context.

Over the past several months, portions of the engineering findings, project documentation, and project communications have already been released. Those materials consistently identify a substantial number of pre-existing conditions that existed long before C&C Construction became involved with the property. The factual record reflects that many of these conditions were discovered only after demolition, investigation, and exposure of concealed assemblies during the course of construction. These are not conditions created by C&C Construction, nor are they conditions that originated during our involvement with the project.

It is therefore disappointing to witness a continued effort to rewrite that history and attribute longstanding deficiencies to the very individuals who were hired to identify, address, and remediate them.

We will not sit quietly while incomplete narratives attempt to transform documented pre-existing conditions into alleged contractor-created defects. The evidence, project records, engineering findings, photographs, communications, and testimony will ultimately establish the distinction between conditions that existed before our involvement and the work that was actually performed.

Perhaps most concerning is the growing pattern of presenting information in a manner designed to influence public opinion while omitting the context necessary for viewers to reach their own informed conclusions. A photograph without context is not evidence. A selective excerpt is not a complete record. A repeated allegation does not become a fact simply because it is repeated often enough.

We recognize that construction disputes can be emotional and financially difficult for everyone involved. However, accountability requires an honest examination of the facts, including decisions, conditions, and circumstances that may be uncomfortable to acknowledge. Responsibility cannot be transferred merely because the truth is inconvenient.

C&C Construction entered this project with the goal of helping the owners transform a property into the home they envisioned. Unfortunately, not every challenge discovered during construction was created during construction. The documented condition of this property prior to our involvement is an issue that cannot be ignored, revised, or erased through social media narratives.

We remain confident in the factual record and look forward to the continued legal process, where evidence—not speculation, emotion, or public relations campaigns—will determine the outcome. We believe that when all of the facts are presented in their entirety, the public will clearly understand the difference between legitimate evidence and a narrative constructed to avoid responsibility for circumstances that predated our involvement.

The truth does not require editing. It requires context. And context is exactly what we intend to continue providing.
