Recent Waterton Community project in Grayson ✅

With all the rain we’ve been getting, this project was right on time. We repaired damaged soffit boards, fascia boards, and brick mold around doors, then installed a brand new 6" gutter system in the color Clay to help move water where it belongs...away from the home.

Grayson homebase project ✅

From the street, this brick home looked great. Up close, we found widespread wood rot and water damage (especially along the fascia) caused by old, ineffective gutters and years of wear.

Our crew repaired damaged fascia and trim using non-rot PVC, pressure washed the home, then caulked, sanded, and primed before applying fresh, weather-resistant paint in the existing color. To solve the real issue, we removed the old gutters and installed 6" seamless aluminum gutters in Royal Brown (a standout against the brick), plus LeafBlaster gutter guards to help prevent buildup and future water damage.

Braselton exterior transformation ✅

This home hadn’t been painted since it was built in 2017, and we found several areas of wood rot around the trim. After replacing damaged sections and completing thorough prep, we gave it a fresh, brighter look with:

Lilburn exterior refresh ✅

We started with a full pressure wash and carpentry repairs, then updated the home with SW Software on the siding for a clean contrast against the brick. All trim was repainted in traditional white, and we finished the project with new 6" gutters in SW Tricorn Black.

Sometimes wood rot on your home is sneaky🪵

A few spots we commonly find damage (besides fascia + door trim):

🏠Corner boards — Water finds it way into splits and seams
🏠Soffit boards — Back-flowing water can work its way inside the soffit, which just means trouble
🏠Siding — especially near the ground, where water splashes up and moisture sticks around

If you’re seeing peeling paint, wrinkled or soft wood, splits, bare spots, or gaps at trim joints, don’t ignore it Rot spreads and it usually gets more expensive the longer it hangs around.

👉That’s why we always inspect for rot and recommend repairing damaged areas before we paint—so your finish looks great and actually lasts.

This one had its fair share of wood rot (brick mold, corner boards, soffit boards). We made the repairs, gave all the trim fresh coats of paint, cleaned up the gutters, and finished with a crisp black update in Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black for a clean, high-contrast look.

Alex and the crew are out in Hoschton giving this exterior a much-needed glow-up. Siding is going on in Benjamin Moore Oil Cloth, and we’re wrapping up the last carpentry repairs (goodbye, rotted wood 👋) before we paint the trim, gutters, shutters, and doors in their new color.
