Your business is unique. Your event cart should be too.

RBJ Woodworks is now building custom event carts for businesses across the country, with nationwide shipping now available.

Whether you’re serving coffee, charcuterie, baked goods, drinks, running an interactive event business, or have an idea I haven’t built for yet, each cart can be designed around the way you work.

These two carts are a good example. They were built for completely different businesses, with different layouts, storage, work surfaces, cutouts, colors and branding.

Event carts start at $750 unfinished, with painted finishes, upgraded tops, fold-out shelves, equipment cutouts, custom layouts and other options available.

Have an idea for your business? Let’s build it.

Sometimes a standard size just isn’t enough! 💚

This custom mud kitchen was built extra large AND extra tall for a family with lots of kids—including older kids who need a little more room to play.

With all that extra counter space, we were also able to give them two sinks with two different ways to add running water. 💦

One connects directly to a garden hose for easy, continuous running water. The other uses a rechargeable water pump and bucket, so it can have running water with no hose connection needed.

That means more room, more kids, and more ways to make a mess—which is pretty much exactly what a mud kitchen is supposed to do. 😄

If one of my standard sizes or setups isn’t quite right for your family, ask me about customizing one.

Which would you choose for water play—hook it to the garden hose, or go hose-free with the rechargeable pump? 💦 Tell me in the comments!

When the kids are getting bigger, sometimes the mud kitchen needs to grow with them! 🌿💦

This custom build is both extra tall and extra large—made for a family with lots of older kids who still love getting outside, creating, and getting messy.

And check out the water options! 💧 Hook it directly to a garden hose for running water, or choose one of our no-hose options when a hose connection isn’t convenient.

Mud kitchens definitely aren’t just for toddlers. ❤️

Keep the mess outside. Warning they may have to rinse off when they are done playing!

You may know that I first got into making mud kitchens and picnic tables for our grandkids. In fact, the name RBJ Woodworks comes from their initials.

Another thing that always makes my day is when someone tells me they recognized one of my products at a local coffee shop or restaurant.

Today those two worlds came together.

Our grandkids had a playdate at THIRD PLACE COFFEEHOUSE and I got to watch videos of them excitedly saying, “Guh made these!”

I can’t really put into words how much that meant to me. Seeing something I built become part of their memories is pretty special.

This is more of a personal post than a business one, but I wanted to share it with everyone who’s supported RBJ Woodworks along the way. Thank you for letting me build things that become part of your families’ stories too.

One of my favorite parts of building these mud kitchens is seeing how every family uses them a little differently.

If you’ve bought one from me, I’d love to hear:

What’s your child’s favorite way to play with it?

Do they make mud pies? Run a pretend restaurant? Mix “potions?” Use it with water, sand, or something I never would have thought of?

Feel free to share a photo in the comments too—I love seeing them in their new homes!

And if you’re still thinking about getting one, check out the comments. I have a feeling you’ll get some great ideas.

These all found new homes in the last two weeks, and seeing how every family makes their mud kitchen their own is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Every mud kitchen is handmade to order and can be customized with different sizes, heights, colors, water options, and accessories to fit your family.

Which setup is your favorite—1, 2, 3, or 4?
