One of my favorite things about building these mud kitchens is making each one fit what a customer wants!

This customer wanted something a little different — no backsplash so the kids can play from both sides, plus a specific arrangement for the cabinet door and burners.

Most of the kitchens I build have a backsplash, but that’s the beauty of having one custom made. We can change things up to make it work for your space and how your kids will use it.

I’ve always thought I liked the look of a painted base with a stained top on our picnic tables. But we’ve had a couple of customers go with an all-stained finish lately, and I think they might be changing my mind!

I’m really liking how these turned out!
