Congratulations to our 2026 Safety Award winners! This year, we are recognizing 54 ABC Mississippi Chapter Safety Award winners and 42 ABC National STEP Award winners for their commitment to safety and excellence in our industry.

We had a great time hosting alumni from Mississippi State University’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at our office this week.

It was a fun evening of networking, reconnecting with old friends, and hearing about all of the great things happening in the department from Dr. Howard.

Our third award is the Service Excellence Award.

This award recognizes someone who represents Malouf Construction with excellence — through responsiveness, professionalism, and true customer service. They support the field team, strengthen relationships, and ensure details are handled in a way that builds trust with our clients and partners.

This years’ Service Excellence Award winner is Colton Pierce.

Over the past couple of years, he’s been a driving force behind many of our industrial, design-build projects. His dedication, follow-through, and care for people set the standard for what it means to lead by example.

Colton’s also a trusted teammate for our subs and vendors, building relationships based on communication, reliability, and attention to detail. Colton makes our customers feel truly supported and valued.

Colton, thank you for going above and beyond—our teams, partners, and customers all feel the difference you make.

Our second award is the Level Up Award.

The Level Up Award recognizes someone who has dramatically increased their impact over the past year through growth, drive, and commitment. It’s the person who didn’t stay where they started — they learned, leveled up, took on more, and proved what’s possible when effort meets opportunity. This year, our Level Up Award has two winners.

Leadership doesn’t always look loud—and that’s exactly what makes it powerful.
Both individuals started at the ground level and put in the work day after day. No spotlight, no “rah-rah”—just consistent effort, a commitment to learning, and the willingness to step up whenever called upon. They built their skills, earned responsibility, and demonstrated the character we value most at Malouf.

Because of that, they’ve achieved something not easily earned—the respect of their fellow crew members. That kind of transition takes humility, grit, and integrity, and they’ve done it the right way. And the best part? This is just the beginning.

We’re excited to introduce something new at Malouf Construction—our first set of annual awards. 🏆

These awards will be given each year, with winners recognized on a permanent plaque displayed in both of our offices.

They reflect who we are and what we’re committed to: building strong relationships, adding value through our work, giving back to our industry and community, and seeking the Lord’s guidance in how we lead and serve. These awards recognize individuals who live that out every day—not just in results, but in how they show up for others.

Over the next few days, we’ll be highlighting each of this year’s winners—stay tuned as we celebrate the people who make Malouf Construction what it is.

Our 2026 inaugural People Builder Award recognizes a leader who truly invests in his team. He takes the time to understand each crew member’s goals, helps map out a path for their success, and holds them accountable in a way that motivates and empowers.

But his impact goes beyond the jobsite. He genuinely cares about his people—their well-being, their growth, and their future. He leads by example, embraces every challenge, and is always willing to learn something new to get the job done right.
