Gretna Recreation Welcome to the Gretna Recreation page. This page is designed to keep the community up to date with Mel Ott Park and the other parks in the Gretna area.

Gretna Recreation is not only Mel Ott Park. We are comprised of many parks throughout Gretna including tot lots, J.B. Spencer Park, Knight's Corner, Gretna Park and many others. Our goal is to become a more FAMILY friendly park by offering things for children, adults and senior citizens. We encourage all Gretna residents to come out to the park and join in the fun! T-Ball- Ages: 5-6- Registration begins in March
Baseball- Ages: 7-17- Registration begins in March
Softball - Ages: 7-17- Registration begins in March
Football- Ages: 6-17- Registration begins in August
Cheerleading- Ages: 5-17- Registration begins in August
Basketball- Ages: 6-17- Registration begins in October
Soccer- Ages: 6-15- Registration begins in January
Track- Ages: 6-17- Registration begins in January

We are starting to offer Adult Cabbage Ball and Adult Indoor Volleyball. In the near future we hope to offer Zumba, Aerobics and Painting classes to adults.
