We build all of our homes to the Fortified Gold Standard. What does this mean? It means our homes are engineered and built to stand up to 160+ MPH winds! Part of this process involves attaching stainless or galvanized metal straps to the framing system. In the photos below, each yellow dot indicates a metal strap. When finished, this house will have over 400 metal straps tying the very top of the home all the way back down to the foundation.

Why do we do this? Because we focus on the quality of construction, not the number of homes we can build for the least amount of money. We want our customers to know that they are investing in a property that is built to last! On top of that, when a home is built to the Fortified Gold Standard, homeowners can save up to 40% on their annual homeowners insurance!

It is pretty impressive what our framers can accomplish in a couple of days when you have good weather on your side!

Here’s where it all begins. Ever wonder how a beach house is built on “stilts”? We use a large water pump to emulsify the sand and push each pier down deep into the ground. Once the water pump is turned off the sand compacts around the pier creating an extremely strong compression.
