I first started writing poetry about a year ago and haven't stopped since. I write every day and spend hours of the day writing. Writing has truly become a passion of mine and it has helped me so much in life recently, because I can express my feelings with my words. I am a man that's been through tough times in my past but I'm now headed in the right direction. My past is something I would love t
o forget as I've let many people down during my years. I can now say I have become a great man, father, and son. I am proud to be that man. My poetry is of the rhyming type. It just does something for me that no other poetry can. When I first started writing, I was writing music. It was so much fun, but I could never keep anyone dedicated enough to keep it going, so I started writing poetry and I've decided to share my work with the world. I want to thank several people for there support and help. The first person I want to thank is my Aunt, Debbie Wooldridge. If not for her help throughout it all, I'm not sure this book gets done. She served as my personal editor and advisor and she always has encouraging words for me. Next I want to thank my family, my parents and my children. They have inspired so much of my work. They have been there for me when I needed my writing time or just any kind of time. I can assure you that a lot of time has been put forth for this book. I hope that you enjoy what you will read in the book and I thank my God everyday for giving me the ability to write and create this book. It goes beyond family, love and God. It goes deep and does so in realistic fashion. In this book I have also written about two little girls who left us way to soon. Inside I provide a bio of each child to show you how I got to know them. One of the little girls fathers (Chris Collins of Custom Printing) created the ribbons on the book cover in dedication of these two ladies’ that left us so early. You will also read bios of my Grandparents, Parents, family, Children, and God to go along with the poems that those special people have inspired. This book was written in full inspiration from love poems to poems of Faith. I have shared many of these poems with friends going through hard times and even at funerals. This book is dedicated to the loved ones who have passed, the two beautiful young ladies that has passed and to my amazing family and friends.
