🎻 Calling all cellists — mark your calendars! Penn State is hosting Cello Summit 2026 on Saturday, October 3rd from 8am–2pm at Music Building I, and it's free and open to everyone. Highlights include a masterclass & recital with guest artist Bion Tsang, an electric cello demo, a cello choir reading session open to all skill levels, free food, yoga/wellness, vendors, and a chance to sit in on the Philharmonic's 2pm dress rehearsal. This is a consignment sale of instruments from the community (not CDSD instruments), so it's a great opportunity whether you're looking to buy a quality used instrument for a student or sell one that's collecting dust. Proceeds benefit CDSD Music Programs.

A beautiful Sunday wedding at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex 🎶✨ Honored to provide live music for such a special celebration — from Canon in D during pre-ceremony to Stay With Me, Oceans, Why I Love You, Best Part, and Someone Like You as the couple walked back down the aisle. Congratulations to the newlyweds! 🤍

Still thinking about this one 💍 Our string duo had the honor of playing ceremony music for a beautiful outdoor wedding at Normandy Farm Hotel & Conference Center — Goo Goo Dolls for the groomsmen's entrance, Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol walking the bridal party down the aisle, and a fast, joyful "I'm Yours" to send the newlyweds off.

Two hours of highway separated her farm in Carlisle from his life in Philadelphia. Four years later: a full sanctuary in Carlisle, and a write-up in The New York Times. 🤍

Maia & Rich were married July 25 at St. John's Episcopal Church, and the Times featured their story in its Mini-Vows column under the headline "Country Woman Meets City Man."

We were honored to build their ceremony music — a string quartet, organ, and vocalists, including a custom arrangement of "Con te Partirò" commissioned specifically for their day. There's nothing quite like a piece of music written for one couple, played once, in a room full of the people who love them.

From Maia afterward: "We received so many compliments from guests saying that the ceremony music was amazing and the experience in the sanctuary was just everything that I imagined it could be."

A few months back, Caleb & Co. (not pictured 📸❌) stepped in for Seasons Family Band at St. Stephens Episcopal Church for their Celtic Eucharist. ⛪️🎶☘️ We were there. It was beautiful. 🥹🎵 You'll have to take our word for it. 🤞🙏

Congratulations to a beautiful couple! 💍🎹

Last Saturday, our pianist Michelle performed a solo piano wedding on the Steinway at Gettysburg College Chapel — a truly stunning venue for a formal, elegant ceremony.

The music told the story of the day: a contemporary pre-ceremony set with songs like "A Thousand Years," "Thinking Out Loud," and "I'm Yours," followed by a bridal processional to Sheeran's "Perfect" and a joyful recessional to Mendelssohn's Wedding March.
