Andersen Honeys & Yummies is back at the Transylvania Farmers Market this week to celebrate the start of summer with a gourmet flight of strawberry preserves packed with sweet local strawberries and made with regenerative organic raw cane sugar. Choose from strawberry vanilla with organic Madagascar vanilla bean sugar; strawberry rhubarb with organic rhubarb and cardamom; strawberry rum with 10-year aged Barbados rum; and strawberry balsamic with aged Italian balsamic vinegar of Modena. Also back on the menu this week is carrot cake jam made with organic carrots, pear and pineapple. Stop by booth # 67 for a taste and grab these sweet yummies before they’re gone!

Andersen Honeys & Yummies is looking forward to being there with yummy all natural and gluten free treats. Stop by for a free sample while they last. 😋

We hope everyone is finally recovered and at least mostly dried out after another unforgettable White Squirrel Festival weekend! Between the crowds, the music, and the weather doing its thing, downtown definitely kept us on our toes.

This weekend, we will have Taylor Mackey & Flave Hart providing us with some great music!

We are also excited to welcome a new vendor to the market: 
French Broad Pastry! They’ll be bringing a delicious selection of baked goods including croissants, baguettes, danishes, and more. 
Be sure to stop by early before the pastries disappear!

It’s a big weekend here in Brevard as we celebrate White Squirrel Weekend! We hope you’ll start your Saturday festivities with us at the farmers market, where you can shop fresh local produce, handmade goods, and support the incredible vendors that make our community so special.

After the market, take some time to stroll through downtown Brevard, explore even more local artisans and shops, and enjoy some amazing live music happening throughout the weekend. While we may see a little rain, don’t let it dampen the festivities — a little mountain drizzle just adds to the charm!

Please note that there will be several road closures downtown throughout the weekend festivities. Be sure to check out the map on the Heart of Brevard page before heading out so you can plan your route and parking accordingly.
