We recently shared a comment on the Sierra Vista Dance Company page that was removed immediately after posting.
While that was disheartening, we want to take a moment to reiterate what we stand for as a business.

While we understand you were offered an opportunity to make up missed classes, it is especially concerning to hear that the conditions provided to you were not the same as those extended to another student. Fairness, consistency, and reasonable accommodation should be applied equally to everyone, particularly when medical challenges are involved.
We are also very troubled to learn that the sponsorship funds provided specifically to support your participation will no longer be used for their intended purpose and will not be refunded. Those funds were given in good faith for your direct benefit, and this outcome is both unexpected and disappointing.
Most importantly, we want you to know how proud we are of you. Your dedication, perseverance, and strength matter far more than any outcome, and we will continue to support you as you move forward. 💛"
