Sprucing Up a Beautiful Lakeside Property
There’s something special about a beautiful property on the lake—and with the right landscaping, it can become an even more inviting place to relax, entertain, and enjoy the outdoors.
Recently, the Hodgdon-Tyler Family Landscaping team had the opportunity to spruce up a gorgeous lakeside property, bringing new life, color, and definition to the landscape while preserving its natural woodland character.
Fresh Plants & Blueberry Bushes
We added a variety of plants throughout the property to create fresh color and texture. Blueberry bushes were also incorporated into the landscape, adding both beauty and function. Not only do they complement the natural surroundings, but they’ll provide delicious berries as they mature.
Lush New Sod
Nothing transforms an outdoor space quite like a healthy green lawn. Fresh sod gave portions of the property an immediate boost, creating a clean, lush appearance that beautifully contrasts with the surrounding woods and lake.
Making the Forest Floors Shine
One of our favorite parts of this project was cleaning up and refreshing the forest floor.
A wooded property has incredible natural beauty, but thoughtful cleanup can make all the difference. By clearing unwanted debris, defining areas, and giving the forest floor some attention, we helped showcase the trees and natural landscape rather than covering them up.
The result is a property that feels clean, cared for, and polished while still looking natural.
