Let's get it.

It could be the first real snowstorm of the season, and it could dump a ton of snow across New England. Here's what we know so far.

We are still busy cleaning up from this storm, pushing back banks and clearing roofs.

We are still busy cleaning up from this storm, pushing back banks and clearing roofs.

For those that didn't see me show this graphic yesterday....

This is the top 5 March snowstorms for Bangor. This most recent storm comes in as the 2nd biggest March storm on record.

The interesting part of this though... notice the dates. all 5 fall within the same time frame. And... if you look back to the top 10 March snowstorms... 8 out of the 10 have fallen between March 12th-17th!

Wow!

Wow!

Here's a look at the snowfall forecast from Tuesday morning through noontime Wednesday.

Much of the state can expect at least a foot of snow from this next storm wiht slightly lower amounts of 10"-16" over coastal and eastern Washington County where the snow may be a bit heavier/wetter and lower amounts of 8"-12" over northeast Aroostook County where they will see lesser amount of precipitation in general.

We will keep a close eye on this as it's all dependent on the storm track. We'll take a look at the new data coming in later this morning and early this afternoon. A more southerly track to the storm would mean lower snowfall totals but at this point it looks like significant snowfall across the state.
