While lumber markets continue to be soft; that does not mean you as a landowner cannot have a successful sale. Many times in our industry standing timber value does not reflect current lumber markets due to lack of supply of standing timber.

The sale is all about knowing the market; and timing.

We’ve grown our company! Noah M. Smith forestry services has changed to Basin Creek Forestry and Wildlife LLC.

Basin Creek Forestry & Wildlife LLC is a Virginia based company serving the Southeast & Appalachia owned and managed by Jacob Johnston and Noah Smith. Jacob and Noah offer a traditional approach to Forestry and Wildlife management to both small private land owners as well as industrial forest and mineral land holding groups. Jacob and Noah offer the expertise rooted in a multi generational family tradition of forestry and the timber industry with a friendly approach.
