19 Century French Provincial Bow Front Credenza , Just completed for a Palmatto Bluff new construction. My new home builders found the original antique credenza at ADAC in Atlanta Georgia , unfortunately it was not long enough for there Dinning room . I was able to get detailed photos from all angles of the piece showing distress levels and color combinations . I duplicated the piece 96 inches long X 22 inches deep X 43 inches high . It is all poplar solids with heavy distressing and multi layer paint and stains finished in a dead flat acrylic.

French Creole Linen and Clothes Press Cabinet . Just completed for a Palmatto Bluff new construction . Poplar solids , heavy distressed combination paint and stains finish . All large hardware hand cut and ground in shop . Size 9 feet tall X 66 inches wide X 24 inches deep. House hold textile storage presses date back to the Romans , but were used widely during the 17th , 18th , and 19th centuries . Textile storage and press cabinets were most often built “on site” during the construction of the actual home then finished with the same Crown , Base , and Chair Rail moldings . Often found at antique and architectural antique dealers , the moldings at the rear of the cabinets are usually still cut at 45 degree angles .
