Every once in a while, you get lucky enough to build a team that genuinely makes you proud.

The crew we have today is exactly that. These guys care about the work, care about our customers, and take pride in what they put their name on. Because of that, we’re looking to add a few more strong pieces to the board.

We’re currently looking for skilled individuals with experience in painting, masonry, tile installation, carpentry, or related trades. If you have a portfolio of work you’re proud of and you’re interested in expanding your skill set, we’d love to talk. We specialize in a wide range of restoration and home service work, and we’re always willing to invest in good people who want to learn.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Professional and personable with customers
• Self-motivated and internally driven
• Takes pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Portfolio or examples of previous work preferred

Random question…

Do companies still have pride anymore?

Not just pride from the owner. Pride from the people wearing the shirt and the hat every day.

Over the years, I’ve caught some of my employees out on their days off, at family gatherings, running errands, or just out living life—and they’re still wearing an All About Grout shirt or hat.

Nobody told them to. Nobody had to.

Maybe it’s old-fashioned, but I think there’s something special about that.

Taking pride in your work. Taking pride in the people you work with. Taking pride in the name on the truck, the shirt, and the hat.

In a world where so many jobs feel temporary, I still think there are people who genuinely care about what they do and who they do it for.

One of the things that gets overlooked the most on a home is the chimney.

Most homeowners think about kitchens, bathrooms, patios, and landscaping, but the chimney is sitting out there 365 days a year taking a beating from rain, snow, ice, UV exposure, and temperature changes. By the time damage becomes obvious from the ground, it’s often been developing for years.

This project involved rebuilding the mortar base and applying a full natural stone veneer system to completely transform the appearance of the chimney while giving it a durable exterior built to stand up to the elements. The before-and-after photos really show how much of an impact a chimney can have on the overall look of a home.

As a quick reminder, larger masonry projects like chimney restorations, retaining walls, stoops, and major repairs take planning and scheduling. We’re currently booking many of our larger masonry projects into July, so if something is on your radar for this season, now is the time to reach out and start the conversation.

One thing homeowners don’t always realize is that larger masonry projects aren’t usually something you decide to do on a Friday and have completed the following week. Retaining walls, stoops, paver installations, major repairs, and larger restoration projects take planning, material ordering, scheduling, and the right weather conditions.

We’re currently booking larger masonry projects into July, and every year we have homeowners who call in June hoping to have something completed before a graduation party, family gathering, or summer event.

If you know a project is on your radar this year, even if you’re not ready to start tomorrow, now is the time to start the conversation.

A little planning today can make the difference between enjoying your new project this summer or waiting until next season.
