Sharing some of my favorite finds from past The Found Cottage Mercantile shows. The paintings, the chairs, the trophies, the pottery… it’s just absolutely magical. I can’t believe that by this time next week it will have wrapped up. If you are thinking of joining us, we’d absolutely love to have you! Discount on tickets end Thursday night at midnight so it’s always best to buy ahead of time. If not, no biggie we’ll also be selling them at the gate. If you are hunting for that special one of a guide item, chances are high to find it this coming weekend at the show! I cannot wait to see you all!

OTTO‘s very first 4-H fair is in the books and I couldn’t be more prouder of him! He was so nervous but he put himself out there and did a fantastic job. It’s so good for kids to learn the skills that 4h offers. From showmanship to salesmanship, we’re off to the livestock auction tomorrow!

Let’s play a game called look what I bought at the antique show and where do I put it!? I bought this framed French dinner menu from Debbie Jones at the Petoskey Antiques Show this summer and I’m finally getting around to hanging it up. Except now I’m not sure which I like better. The wall by the cabinets and the light switch or the wall by the fridge?

These little cucamelons have no business being this tasty and adorable! They look like watermelons but they’re no more than an inch long and pack a little sour cucumber punch. They’re not good pickled (they get mushy) but they add a delicious snap to a salad or look amazing on a veggie tray. I grew them on my grape trellis and one plant has given hundreds ! Plenty to share. What do you think? Have you ever tried them? 🍃🌻🍃
