Ideally, someone with MULTIFAMILY experience, but we're open to training someone looking to get into Multifamily (within reason).

Projects are all across the Southeast, focused mainly in GA, SC, and FL.

The most urgent need is Charleston, SC.

We offer Salary OR Hourly, depending on what is preferred

We have loved having two high school interns learning alongside our team! ⚡️💙

From working in the field to counting drawings, helping prepare bids, and even building office furniture, they have gotten a firsthand look at Garrett Electrical from the inside out.

Investing in the next generation is critical to the future of our industry. We are proud to give young people the opportunity to learn the electrical trade by doing, and we have certainly enjoyed their energy, jokes, curiosity, and willingness to jump in wherever they are needed!

Electrical Estimator – Multifamily / Multi-Unit Construction

📍 [Winder, Ga] | Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in multifamily and multi-unit residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical estimates, reviewing project plans and specs, coordinating vendor and subcontractor pricing, and supporting preconstruction efforts.

Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed electrical estimates and takeoffs
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Assist with budgeting and value engineering
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and clients
• Maintain accurate estimating records and cost databases

Qualifications
• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Multifamily or multi-unit project experience preferred
• Ability to read electrical plans and specifications
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore estimating module, we are looking into Sage estimating software and would value an opinion on what’s best and why. Or similar estimating/on screen takeoff programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of current NEC codes and ability to utilize codebook
