We had the incredible honor of presenting our first BMG scholarship recipient, Matthew McMullen from The Woodlands, TX, with a $2,500 award. We were blown away by the number of submissions we received—over 400! Each one was amazing, but Matthew truly stood out with his leadership, volunteerism, community involvement, work ethic, and so much more.

As an SFA graduate, it was a bit conflicting choosing a student attending SHSU, but Matthew embodies all the characteristics of a deserving recipient. We’re beyond honored to award this scholarship to him and are excited to follow and share in his journey!

Meeting his mother, one of the sweetest and most caring women, made the day even more special. It’s clear where Matthew gets his kindness from.

If you ever wonder how they do it… These guys are smart.. he is literally checking weak points on the soffit… Make sure you have a solid structure!!!

Saved the Day!

This is why you don’t let non professional roofers on your roof that don’t have credibility. Customer had no idea as they were referred to them. This was clearly manufactured hail damage “flicking pebbles” by the roofer that was here when I pulled up. Look at the circled “hail” hits then look at the other “clean slope” both facing same direction.. 🤔 so hail hit this slope but not the other.. Weird right.. 🤦🏼‍♂️ Not to mention not one single dent in the gutters or scratch on the screens. These marks are equivalent to 1.75 hail.. Have you seen photos of Sugarland and Bellville!!! It would obliterated!
Also instead of resealing the pipe jack he over tarped and damaged the roof even more with plastic cap nails.. He was not betting on FAIRCLAIMS ROOFING showing up and saving this customer thousands!! Simple tune up would have fixed her problem. Now she has to spend even more money to fix all the shingles he damaged..
