🎲 Board Games Needed for Shadow Oaks Elementary! 🧩

Help bring fun, screen-free activities to local students! Shadow Oaks Elementary is accepting new or gently used board games, card games, puzzles, and other age-appropriate games for indoor play on rainy, extremely hot, or cold days.

Please donate games that are complete and in good condition.

📍 Drop off donations at Shadow Oaks Elementary School, located at Shadowdale Drive and Westview Drive.

Please join us for our annual 4th of July Parade at K**b Hill Park to celebrate our Nation's 250th birthday! We are again joining with Royal Oaks to host a very special celebration.
We will be set up Saturday, July 4th at 9am serving snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn and watermelon. Also, we will have the Texas Bubblers, face painting and the Houston Fire Department will make a visit with their fire truck.
The parade will start at 10 am, so bring your decorated bikes, carts, scooters, wagons, golf carts etc. decked out in your best patriotic flare! Judging and awards will happen right after the parade.
Please come out and celebrate Freedom with us next Saturday!

The Houston Police Department Northwest Station will host their monthly PIP Meeting on Tuesday, April 21st at 7pm at the Faith Center.

This month’s meeting will feature a presentation on the upcoming Amazon Air Drone Delivery service coming to District A. An Amazon representative will share details, timelines, and address public safety concerns.

Topics will include:
What happens if a delivery drone malfunctions mid-flight
Drone capabilities to audio and video
Potential noise impacts from drone activity
Privacy considerations for residents and property
