We just completed this add-on screened in porch, here in Utopia.
We pressure washed and sealed the existing slab and transformed this space into a cozy hangout for years to come.

A custom “X” motif was requested and it creates a look that stands out.
Standing seam roof Is In process to be scheduled.

We also replaced any rotting trim boards and siding on the entire structure as necessary, In order to prep for paint In the near future.

Completed a partial bathroom renovation yesterday at a vacation cabin here In the canyon.

Removed and replaced the old vanity and clawfoot tub, making way for more shower space and custom fit shelving.

We finally completed Phase 3 of a lengthy job that dated back to May / June of 2024. There were several delays but once all materials were acquired, we were able to finalize this bathroom addition.

This shipping container had been previously converted into a workspace, and the new owners altered it into a living space.

With a custom tile shower and pecan slab counter / backsplash / shelving, this was another fun build.

Completed another job today. Removed and replaced the original tub / shower enclosure because the floor of the tub was cracked and leaking into the subfloor.

The deck treads and railing were beyond repair, but we were able to save the entire frame / joists.
We’ll return at some point to stain and seal it.

Finalized a shower remodel and deck reseal today.
Travertine floor and inlay with cobblestone niche. Stainless grab bars for stability.

Pressure washed the decking and applied Behr Waterproofing Stain and Sealer to preserve this deck several more years.

This was the second phase of our current project.
The main home on the property had been previously remodeled by the most recent owner, so there were only a few changes that needed to be made.

The washer / dryer was housed in a small room under the covered area of the porch. We omitted this room and sealed up the home to enlarge the entertaining area outside.
Of the two small bedrooms and very small closets for each, we converted one of them into a laundry / pantry for storage, then opened the adjacent double closets into one large closet.
We added custom shelving / rods in each room, and a soft close bypass slider door for the closet.

We also added a custom, removable cover for the water filtration system mounted on the exterior of the home.

We began this remodel / addition back in June, divided into phases per customer request, completing one structure at a time so they could reside there while we began the next phase.
We are currently in the middle of the third and final phase but we’ve been anxious to share our work so far.
Brad and Kim are new to Utopia and we greatly appreciate all the work they’ve provided for Danny Manis and myself.

This first structure was labeled a tear down by some, but we took the old bones, added some new and created a beautiful living and office space and added a 1/2 bathroom.
This skillion style roof is unique. We removed and replaced the entire right side, as we extended the floor plan.
The large picture windows in the bedroom and office allow a wonderful view over the canyon.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed this build and look forward to sharing the final results soon!
