You know, I started in this knowing that one day I was going to be the guy running the job, and even the company. I wasn’t sure that it would be my company until about 6 years ago. I can remember starting out as a young apprentice wanting to be the smartest and most hardworking guy in the field. I bought all my own books, studied at home, worked probably too much overtime just to learn the trade better… and never gave up no matter how hard anything became. I passed my Journeyman, then my Masters, and then we received our Contractor’s license. And I’ve had so much family support! It’s taught just how important it is to have family, especially family that believes in you and supports you at every corner. And I have especially had so much support from my amazing wife and awesome son, who are also owners in this. I like to tell everyone that my wife runs the company, I just run the job site. Haha! A good portion of that is really true. And my awesome son, Camden ( Cam the Man), was every bit the original inspiration behind it all. I definitely would not be here today if it weren’t for my family pushing me, believing in me and always knowing that I could do anything that I set my mind to. Which brings me to this: We have officially passed another class and another test. Now, we are not only certified to install and work on air-cooled generators from Briggs & Stratton, but also on liquid-cooled generators. When it comes to breaking these things down, you really do get to see how genius these engineers are who built these things. It’s a whole other beast! And our family and company are ready to install them!
