We have liftoff!

The "Innovation" vessel successfully completed its jacking trials, at Damen Shipyard, in Rotterdam last week.

JSA fabricated two new legs, which included the upgrade of the original 7" thick rack to new 9" thick gear rack (which is the thickest rack on any jackup vessel in the world).

We just completed the cutting of the thickest gear racks to ever be used on a jackup vessel of any kind. These are 9" (228 mm) thick, going on the Wind Installer Innovation. We will now use these to build 2 leg sections, 47 meters long each.

Shipyard phase of the leg construction is well-advanced for the Zentech Z210 Mobile Offshore Unit, in which JSA played a pivotal role. The MOU is scheduled to be delivered from the yard in March 2018.

JSA completes rack and chord fabrication phase for the upgrade of the Master Marine-owned jackup “Rig Haven”. New racks with heavier chords (up to 90mm thick) were produced to beef up the 4-leg accommodation vessel destined for the Johan Sverdrup field in Norway.

To all our clients, partners and associates: we are experiencing
historic flooding in Houston following Hurricane Harvey, with likely tens of thousands of people flooded out of their homes. All JSA employees are doing well so far, but there is an additional 3-4 days of rain expected as the remnants of the storm are stalled. Schools will be closed next week and we will be busy helping friends, family and others deal with this devastating flood over the next few days. Therefore, the office will likely be closed most of the week and we may be slow to respond.

JSA Global is proud to be associated with Eversendai Offshore in its development program for the 2nos Gusto NG2500 Jackup Lift boats. The VAHANA A***N is the first of the two units launched recently at the Eversendai facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. JSA was involved in the supply of the entire set of Legs manufactured out of its facility in Houston USA.
