I’ve been really excited to share this one.

Meet “Carnivore’s Choice” – a 12x19 end grain cutting board with a walnut dinosaur inlay set into white oak.

It’s built like a butcher block and meant to live on your counter, not in a cabinet:
• 2” thick, end grain construction
• Walnut inlay set into solid hardwood
• Rubber feet so it stays put and can breathe
• Finished with food-safe oil and board butter

This is for the people who’d rather have one really good board than a pile of disposable ones. Meat lovers, grill folks, and anyone who likes a little attitude in their kitchen are definitely the target here.

I’ve been really excited to share this one.

This is “Carnivore’s Choice” – a 12x19 end grain cutting board with a walnut dinosaur inlay set into white oak. It’s basically what happens when you mix butcher block construction with a little bit of attitude.

I built it to be used, not just looked at. It’s 2" thick, end grain, has rubber feet on the bottom so it stays put and can breathe, and it’s finished with food-safe oil and board butter. It looks great living on the counter, then goes straight to work on steak night.

A few quick details:

White oak end grain board with walnut inlay

12" x 19" x 2"

Handmade one at a time in my shop

Other wood combinations are available if you want something a little different

If you’ve got a meat lover, grill person, or just someone who appreciates a solid, non–big-box-board, this might be their thing.

I gave this to my mom for her bday, and I liked it so much, i decided to go ahead and list it. Perfect for the memaw in everyone's life. If anyone is interested but wants to use a different term for grandma (Nana, Granny, Grandma, etc) I'm happy to work out designs for those too if requested.
