STEVE! Are you crazy?! That's the air conditioner, not the furnace!
This is a Heat pump system we installed for a customer a few years back.
A Heat Pump reverses the flow of refrigerant in the system.
To make it easy to understand…
In the winter when you use the Heat, the cold air is now deposited outside and the heat is deposited inside your home!
In the summer months it’s opposite.
The cold air is deposited inside your home (actually removing heat from the home, but trying to keep it simple here) and the heat is rejected to the outdoors!
Don’t let anyone tell you Heat Pumps are not good for our area!
They are perfect for our area!
Heat pumps of long ago, are not Today’s Heat Pumps.
There are heat pump systems today that can operate effectively down to -10* F!
Heat pumps also put out a gentler heat inside your home…
Not a sweltering, suffocating heat.
We have 2 Heat Pump systems in our home and absolutely Love them!
