It’s been a long time since I posted anything here, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy in the wood shop. It seems like since the OVMS Show-of-Shows things have exploded. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, or e-mailed me with orders!

In addition to the headgear stands, which are still the most popular offering, I have knocked out a few presentation cases and other displays. Here are just a few quick photos of stuff I cranked out in the last couple of months…

A long-time local customer and fellow collector picked this up today! Display for a Civil War Officer’s saber, along with an ID disc belonging to Lt. Dorsey Pender made from a silver coin and a book about Pender, who went on to become a general in the Confederate Army. A ‘space-filler’, reproduction officer’s kepi hat rounds out the presentation. Flush-Mount, dimmable, LED puck fixtures afford just the right amount of light. A fun project, in part because the customer gave me the space and time (a little over two months!) to do it up right.
