It was such a privilege to help my clients transform this incredible second home on the San Bernard River into the perfect blend of sophisticated design, effortless comfort, and unforgettable entertaining.

Every detail was selected to create a relaxed, elevated lifestyle—from fresh designer paint colors and upgraded lighting to inviting furnishings that encourage you to slow down, gather with friends, and enjoy the view. The custom wine bar quickly became one of my favorite features, creating the perfect destination for hosting after a day on the water.

What truly sets this home apart is its exceptional floor plan. The private owner’s suite occupies its own level, creating a peaceful sanctuary completely separate from the guest accommodations. Meanwhile, family and friends enjoy their own private retreat featuring a spacious living room, full kitchen, two full bathrooms, and a balcony overlooking the San Bernard River. Whether it’s morning coffee while watching the wildlife come alive or a hot toddy under the stars after sunset, every guest has their own space to unwind without ever feeling like they’re imposing on the rest of the home.

This transformation is incredible—it doesn’t just update the home, it completely changes its architectural identity. I transformed this traditional orange brick exterior into a bold, modern timeless masterpiece with deep blue painted brick, crisp white vertical siding, warm cedar accents, black windows and trim, and a dramatic standing seam metal roof. The neighborhood was hit by unexpected extreme hailstones. To protect the house in the future I suggested a metal roof installed by Crown & Gable Roofing Solutions

One of the easiest ways to completely transform a room without the mess, cost, or downtime of a major renovation is wallpaper.

The space already had beautiful architecture I painted a soft matte white, installed white oak wood flooring, and a layered tray ceiling with new lighting and a stunning brass and oak ceiling fan but it was missing a focal point. By simply adding this metallic neutral wallpaper to the bed wall, the entire room instantly feels more custom, sophisticated, and luxurious.

What I love about this pattern is the subtle shimmer and texture. During the day, it reflects natural light, and at night it catches the glow from the bedside lamps, creating depth that paint alone just can’t achieve.

For 2026, we’re seeing a major shift toward metallic neutrals—soft champagne, warm taupe, brushed silver, and layered textures that add interest without overwhelming a space. These tones bring warmth, elegance, and timeless appeal while still feeling fresh and on trend.

The best part? Wallpaper can often be installed in just a day or two, making it one of the highest-impact design updates with the least disruption to your home.

Sometimes, all it takes is one wall to completely change the way a room feels.

Every space should tell a story… and this one tells a story of adventure.”

When we first walked into this home office, it was filled with heavy traditional details and dark finishes that no longer reflected the homeowner’s lifestyle or passions.

Our goal was to create a space inspired by his love for world travel, luxury resorts, fine craftsmanship, and iconic Porsche automobiles—while still honoring the beautiful millwork that made this room special.

We transformed the built-ins with curated accessories, layered textures, brass accents, custom artwork Ralph Lauren lighting, and collected pieces that feel as though they’ve been gathered from destinations around the world. Vintage-inspired signed and numbered Porsche photography, luxury coffee table books, and meaningful personal treasures bring character and tell a story unique to the homeowner.

The result is a sophisticated Tommy Bahama-inspired executive office that feels relaxed, refined, and timeless—a place where business, travel memories, and personal passions come together beautifully.

This pool house started as nothing more than an idea and today it’s a fully realized space designed for gathering, relaxing, and making memories.

What makes this project especially meaningful is that I was involved in every step of the journey. From creating the floor plan and exterior elevation to coordinating engineering and permitting, managing construction, and selecting every finish and material, this project reflects my passion for delivering a complete design experience.

The vaulted ceiling, exposed timber trusses, black accents, natural stone details, and expansive glass doors were all intentionally selected to create a timeless outdoor retreat that feels cohesive to the home while standing beautifully on its own.

From overlooked to overachieving!

What was once a blank, underutilized space is now the ultimate utility room + pantry—where every inch works hard and looks good doing it.

I layered in custom cabinetry with hidden storage (because clutter doesn’t stand a chance here), integrated white oak accents for warmth, and added those vertical paneled doors to bring texture. And let’s talk about that ceiling… wallpaper overhead turns an everyday room into a moment. It draws your eye up and adds just the right amount of personality without overwhelming the palette. Finished with functional hooks, deep drawers, and open cubbies that keep daily life organized, this space proves that utility rooms don’t have to be an afterthought—they can be one of the most beautiful and hardworking rooms in your home.

This space is a perfect example of how to let one bold moment lead the entire design. The oversized octopus mural isn’t just art—it’s the heartbeat of the room. Everything else was intentionally layered to support it, not compete with it.

I pulled the deep teal from the mural into the nightstands and accents, softened the palette with warm woods and creamy neutrals, and added subtle texture through bedding and textiles to keep the space feeling elevated but relaxed. Designing this beach front condo was so fun!

That moment your vent hood becomes the statement piece… everything changes.

This custom design was all about turning a functional element into a focal point. Instead of a standard box, we introduced soft curvature with those vertical wood accents to bring movement, warmth, and a tailored architectural feel. It draws your eye immediately—without overwhelming the space.

Paired with the clean cabinetry and full slab backsplash, the hood adds just the right amount of contrast and craftsmanship. It’s that perfect balance of modern + organic!
