Project Spotlight | Tuscany Meadows Park Reinvestment

Tuscany Meadows Park was designed to create a more welcoming and versatile space for the Frisco community, with improvements that support play, gathering, and everyday use.

The project included play areas for multiple age groups, new seating and picnic spaces, a drinking fountain, bike racks, updated lighting, and new paving. Existing park features were also renewed, including the shade structure, multi-sport court with a practice wall, basketball goals, park signage, and landscaping.

These improvements help create a neighborhood park where families and community members can play, connect, and spend time together.

Millis Development and Construction was proud to sponsor the Mary Queen Knights of Columbus #8494 Backpack and School Supply Drive.

This meaningful event helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to start the school year with a new backpack and the supplies they need to feel prepared and confident.

Thank you to everyone who came together to support the drive, give back to the community, and help make the event a success. We are grateful to be part of an effort that makes a positive difference for local students and families.

Project Update | Del Webb Austin at Lost Pines

Our team continues to make strong progress at Del Webb Austin at Lost Pines in Bastrop, Texas. Framing, sheathing, and waterproofing are being completed this week, while roofing is now underway. Interior rough-in work is scheduled to begin next week.

The pickleball courts have been poured, with fencing and surfacing expected to be completed by early next week. Sitework is also advancing, with approximately 90 percent of the curb and gutter installed. The first lift of asphalt is anticipated within the next few weeks.

We are proud of the continued progress and look forward to seeing each element of this community come together.

Millis Development & Construction Austin was proud to recently take part in the groundbreaking for Butler Rough Hollow Park in Lakeway, TX.

This future community space will include a mountain bike course, ninja course, basketball area with six hoop stations, multisports field, amphitheater with limestone seating, and a shaded, accessible playground.

We are excited to help deliver a park that will give the Lakeway community more ways to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

Wyatt recently completed his “official” inspection of Buffalo Ridge Park. After a thorough review and consultation with our K-9 unit, he determined everything was in order and worthy of his approval.

Project Spotlight | The Woodlands Hills Village Park & Amenity Center

Millis Development & Construction was proud to bring this award-winning community-focused project to life. This 17-acre site features a 14,000+ SF conditioned amenity center with event and fitness spaces, a fitness pool, resort pool, splash pad, and dedicated pump room/restroom building.

The development also includes a pedestrian bridge, trail system, dog park, tennis courts, site lighting and electrical, landscaping, and irrigation—creating a destination designed for recreation, connection, and everyday enjoyment for residents of The Woodlands Hills community.

We're excited to introduce our summer "Official" Inspector Video Series.

This summer, some very special inspectors are joining the Millis team. Our kids will be visiting projects throughout the community, asking questions, sharing observations, and providing their own unique inspections along the way.

First up is Rex, who recently conducted his "official" inspection of the splash pad at Sienna in Missouri City, TX, one of our favorite projects to work on.

Project Spotlight | Primrose Park

Primrose Park, located in Fulshear, TX, is a vibrant community destination designed to bring families, athletes, and neighbors together in the heart of Fulshear. This expansive park features four lighted baseball fields, a large parking area, modular pavers, a pre-fabricated concessions and restroom building, a playground, multiple shade structures, bleachers, site furnishings, signage, and extensive landscape and irrigation improvements.

From recreational play to community gatherings, every element of the park was thoughtfully designed to create an inviting space that residents can enjoy for years to come. We are proud to have helped bring this vision to life and contribute to a project that enhances quality of life, encourages outdoor activity, and creates lasting memories for the Fulshear community.
