*Assembles CNC machined components including insertion or positioning of materials, clamping, splicing, fitting parts using both hand and power tools.
*Comfortable operating within common woodworking environment using chop saw, table saw, screw gun, nail gun, tape measure.
*Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding set-up sheets, work orders, drawings or blueprints and gathers necessary materials and tools to complete order.
*Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
*Produces prototypes when required.
*Proposes process improvements in order to increase finished quality or efficiency of assembly processes.
*Plans and paces work efficiently in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team-related production goals.
*Responds attentively to training from Supervisor or more senior assemblers in order to increase own knowledge of work processes.

• Unload inventory from delivery trucks. Verifying product and quantity are correct before signing for delivery.
• Organize sheet goods warehouse, label and maintain location of routine “stock” materials.
• Organize area and label job specific materials.
• Stage sheet goods for CNC Routing machines based on daily production schedules.
• Assist shipping department loading product as needed.
• Safety conscience at all times.
Excellent communication skills, highly organized and work well under pressure. Bilingual a plus. Essential to be a self-starter, detail oriented, problem solving. Must be mindful of and help to reduce cost.
Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A current forklift driver certification. Train the trainer certified a plus.
• Microsoft Office Suite, primarily proficient with Excel for maintaining inventory lists.

Experience
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 years experience driving a forklift
• Previous experience handling and maintaining inventory
• Familiar with forklift maintenance requirements.

HOURS: Position requires that the employee work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. The employee may be required to work additional hours during the week and Saturdays depending on workload during peak production periods.

Interpret, maintain, review and negotiate construction contracts; procure and maintain necessary project insurances; and prepare and process project close-out documents. Perform A/R duties as assigned, including but not limited to job setup, RCO/CO processing, and monthly reconciliation. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, have excellent attention to detail, be proficient in Excel and be a self-starter.

1. Minimum 2 years drafting experience in the architectural, millwork, or fixture industry

2. Must be able to read, understand, and navigate architectural drawings

3. Must be thoroughly familiar with working in an AutoCAD environment

4. Must be well versed in Microsoft excel

5. Knowledge of ADA standards

6. Knowledge of AWI standards

7. Experience building millwork on the shop floor is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Setting up specifications for each condition as Applicable.

2. Filling out hardware and construction details in the project wizard.

3. Programming basic cabinet and countertop elevations

4. Applying sink and faucet specifications to drawings

5. Applying green lines from the PM

6. Updating returned submittal drawings

7. Applying Approved Redlines (as time permits)

8. Applying Field Dims (as time permits)

Growing company seeking an experienced AutoCAD draftsperson, preferably with Microvellum knowledge. This position REQUIRES millwork industry experience. The ideal individual will bring new ideas with a fresh perspective but be willing to learn and understand our systems.

Millwork Drafting Qualifications:

- In-house production draftsman working as part of a team that is responsible for delivering the project. This is NOT an entry-level position, experience is required: Minimum 3-5 years with AutoCAD and associated tools. Microvellum V7 Experience Preferred

- Thorough knowledge of AWI Quality Standards Preferred

- Must be able to read and understand all architectural drawings/specifications

- Draft shop drawings in AutoCAD

- Perform accurate material takeoffs and prepare material reports for purchasing

- Prior Shop Floor and/or installation experience a Plus

- Some familiarity with how woodworking machinery operates: CNC, edge banding, doweling, clamps, etc.
