Older equipment can start giving you signs before it completely fails inconsistent hot water, unusual noises, corrosion, or moisture around the tank.

If it keeps running, rocks when you sit down, leaks around the base, clogs constantly, or simply isn’t working the way it should, there’s usually a reason.
Sometimes it needs a repair. Sometimes replacement makes more sense.

Plumbing systems change over the years. Repairs get made, materials change, and sometimes older piping stays in service for a long time.
We’re not going to tell you something needs to be replaced just because it’s old. Our job is to look at what’s there, figure out what’s actually going on, and recommend what makes sense.

Your sump pump doesn’t get much attention when everything is dry.
That changes pretty quickly when the rain starts coming down.
If your pump is older, making unusual noises, running constantly, or you simply don’t know when it was last checked, it’s worth taking a look before you actually need it.
A working sump pump is a whole lot cheaper than dealing with a flooded basement.
