Not every toilet problem means you need a new toilet.

Sometimes it’s a leaking seal. Sometimes it’s the fill valve, flush valve, supply connection, or something else that can be repaired.

And sometimes the toilet has simply reached the point where replacement makes more sense.

We’ll take a look and give you an honest answer.

If it can reasonably be repaired, we’ll tell you. If replacement is the better investment, we’ll explain why.

No need to make a simple plumbing problem more complicated than it needs to be.

Commercial plumbing is a different animal than residential work.

Businesses, property managers, and facility owners need their plumbing systems working because downtime costs money and creates problems for everyone using the building.

We handle commercial plumbing with the same approach we bring to our residential customers: figure out the problem, communicate clearly, and do the work correctly.

Whether it’s repairs, maintenance, drains, water lines, fixtures, or other plumbing needs, we’re here when your property needs us.

More than 25 years serving Livingston County and the surrounding area.

A slow drain is usually your plumbing system giving you a warning.

It might start with water taking a little longer to leave the sink or shower. Then one day, it stops draining altogether.

If you notice a drain getting slower, don’t wait until you have standing water and a bigger mess on your hands.

We can clear the line, determine what’s causing the problem, and help you decide if anything else needs attention.

Sometimes taking care of the small problem early is the easiest way to avoid the big one later.

When your boiler isn’t working right, you usually know it pretty quickly.

Maybe the house isn’t heating evenly. Maybe you’re hearing noises you haven’t heard before. Or maybe the system just isn’t keeping up the way it used to.

The first step isn’t guessing or automatically replacing equipment. It’s figuring out what’s actually going on.

We’ll inspect the system, explain what we find, and talk through the repair options with you.

That’s how we’ve always done business.

We’re looking for another plumber to join the Brock Mechanical team.

What matters to me is finding someone who takes pride in their work, treats customers and their homes with respect, and wants to keep getting better at the trade.

We’ve been serving Livingston County for more than 25 years, and we’ve built our reputation one job at a time. We want somebody who understands that reputation matters.

If you’re a licensed plumber or working toward your journeyman’s license and you’re looking for a place where good work is appreciated, I’d like to hear from you.

Give us a call at 248-529-6251.

One of the most important parts of our job happens before we ever start the repair.

We have to figure out what’s actually wrong.

I’d rather spend the time diagnosing a problem correctly than start replacing parts and hoping we eventually find the answer.

Our approach is pretty simple: find the problem, explain what we found, give you your options, and recommend what makes sense.

No mystery. No unnecessary work.

Just an honest answer and a repair done right.

Here’s something every homeowner should know:

Where is your main water shutoff?

If a pipe breaks or a supply line lets go, being able to stop the water quickly can make a huge difference.

Take a few minutes and find yours. Make sure it isn’t buried behind boxes, and make sure the valve actually operates.

If it’s old, corroded, leaking, or won’t turn, don’t wait for an emergency to deal with it.

That’s a small plumbing upgrade that can save you from a very big mess.

Everybody notices the tile, cabinets, shower, and fixtures when a bathroom remodel is finished.

I notice what’s behind the walls.

Water lines, drains, valves, venting, and fixture placement all have to be right if you want that beautiful new bathroom to keep working properly years from now.

If you’re planning a bathroom remodel, bring the plumber into the conversation early.

Good planning saves headaches later.

Getting a new refrigerator with an ice maker or water dispenser?

Make sure the water connection behind it gets the same attention as the appliance itself.

We install refrigerator water lines and connections properly so you’re not relying on an old line, questionable fitting, or something that may start leaking behind the fridge where you won’t see it.

It’s a small connection that can create a big problem if it isn’t done right.

Give us a call when you’re ready for the new refrigerator.
