Old and rotted to new and SAFE!

Replaces the entire staircase with new wood. Each step was two 6x8 blocks to make up the stair tread. We replaced it with four 4x6 blocks due to product availability. Ended up looking g great.

Resident decided to stain the steps themselves so my part was done after the switch out.

🚨 Handyman Apprentice Wanted 🛠️

I’m looking for a reliable, motivated apprentice to work alongside me on a variety of home repair and renovation projects.

If you’re handy, eager to learn, and enjoy working with your hands, I’d love to hear from you.

Position: Handyman Apprentice
Location: Based in Hudson, OH (work is mostly local)
Hours: Part-time
Pay: $20 per hour

🔨 The work changes day to day — simple handyman work to full-scale renovations. You’ll be helping with things like:
🏋️‍♂️ Carrying and setting up tools and materials
⚒️ Assisting with demolition and cleanup
📐 Helping measure, cut, and install materials
🤝 Supporting the jobsite and learning hands-on skills

No handyman experience needed! What really matters is a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a good attitude.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
✔️ Reliable transportation (sometimes I’ll pick you up for the day)
✔️ Hardworking and dependable (no last minute call-offs)
✔️ Willing to learn and take direction (could grow into an independent handyman role)
✔️ Bonus points for a sense of humor (it really helps on long days!)

Old and busted to new and beautiful!

Tore out this old wood lattice that was past its prime and replaced with vinyl. Framed it up with a nice border and properly mounted it using the correct channel system to allow contraction and expansion in our crazy temperature ranges. This prevents it from cracking and breaking throughout the seasons.

Previous contractor simply slapped the composite on top of the old decking. The old decking boards were too close together for proper air flow as well so all this did is cause moisture issues and to top it off… composite boards were too close together leaving no room for expansion and contraction. What’s this create? Popped boards that keep coming back!

While it’s not a perfect solution… I removed the composite. Took out every other board to allow air flow and moisture to dry. Then reattached using the correct fasteners. Not the perfect solution but avoided needing to purchase all new materials AND there’s now proper air flow and room for the composite to expand and contract with our unpredictable weather!

Came out great! But oh man was it hot out today!!!

Get rid of the old and beat up mailbox and replace it with new!

New “canless” LED lighting completely changes the feel of any room. Added a dimmer switch so the resident can set the brightness to where they like it.

This one was easy-peasy with complete access to the attic above BUT I can do it without access!
