Happy to help out. Thank you for the recognition. So blessed to be apart of such a wonderful community.

What might not look like much to some has actually been two years in the making. Our kids deserve nice things, and with the help of so many, we finally finished it.

I’d be wrong not to give a shoutout to the people who made it happen.

First, thank you to our Booster Club—especially Paul Todd—for believing in the vision and helping push it through.

Second, huge thank you to David Ivey, who does so much behind the scenes and put in a ton of work to help us get this project across the finish line.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Volumetric Concrete Operator to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a volumetric concrete mixer truck, delivering concrete to various job sites, and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers and team members.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a volumetric concrete mixer truck
• Operate various types of trucks and equipment
• Transport equipment and materials
• Deliver concrete to job sites in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform daily checks and alert management of any defects
• Assist Whitworth Concrete Works when available

Qualifications
• Valid Class B CDL required, Class A CDL preferred.
• Operate and work around heavy equipment and machinery
• Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations
• Ability to work outdoors in diverse environments
• Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time
• Must be able to work in various heights/depths
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds
• Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques
• Must demonstrate excellent auditory comprehension and clear spoken communication abilities to maintain a safe work environment
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands
• Must be able to lift and/or move 75+ pounds
• Standing and walking on uneven surfaces.
• Repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head and shoulders.
• Must be able to use basic handheld tools

Work Environment
Employee by be exposed, but not limited to the following:
• outside weather conditions, including wet, cold, heat, and humidity
• loud noise level
• frequently exposed to slow or fast moving traffic

Job Details
• Job Type: Full Time
• Location: Huntsville, AL
• Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour pending driving record
• Expected Hours: 30 – 60 per week

Whitworth On-Site Concrete, LLC. is a drug-free environment. This position requires compliance with the company and Federal Department of Transportation (FMSCA) drug testing policies and procedures for both pre-employment and continuing random.
