Why End Grain cutting boards!!

Ever wonder why end grain cutting boards cost more than a regular board?
End grain means the wood fibers stand up like the bristles on a brush. Your knife slides
between them instead of cutting across them. That means sharper knives for longer,
and a board that hides cut marks over time
It also takes a lot more cutting, gluing, and flattening to make one Worth it.
