⛳️ We had a great time out on the course at the KC Carpenters Local Charity Golf Tournament!

Both of our Lucas Commercial Flooring teams had a great showing, bringing home 1st Place and 2nd Place in B Flight!🏆

We’re proud of our teams and always enjoy getting out, supporting a good cause, and having a little friendly competition. Great job, everyone! 💙

Did you know the same carpet tile can look completely different depending on the installation pattern?
Two common options are Monolithic and Ashlar.
Monolithic keeps every tile running in the same direction for a more uniform, streamlined look.
Ashlar staggers the tiles, creating more movement and dimension throughout the space.
Neither is automatically the “right” choice—it depends on the space, the design direction and the look you’re trying to achieve.
Which pattern would you choose: Monolithic or Ashlar?

Flooring is one of the largest visual elements in a space, so it plays a major role in how the finished environment looks and functions.
Color, pattern, texture and scale all influence the feel of a space—and the right flooring selection can help tie together the finishes, furnishings and overall design.
At Lucas, we look beyond the product itself to consider how the flooring will perform within the space, complement the design and support the needs of the people using it.
Good flooring design is about more than what looks good—it’s about making the right choice for the space.

Patient safety doesn't begin and end with medical care.
The right flooring helps reduce slip-and-fall risks, improves cleanability, supports infection control, and creates safer environments for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. We're proud to help healthcare facilities create spaces designed with safety in mind.
