Downtown City Gardens Iowa City In 2016, DCG became a JCMG core project following a three-year waiting period.

Launched in 2008, Downtown City Gardens is a cooperative effort between Johnson County Master Gardener volunteers and the City of Iowa City to provide an inviting environment for visitors. The Downtown City Gardens has been endorsed by Iowa City, the University of Iowa, Iowa City Downtown District, Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce and Project GREEN.
